Welcome to WAR, a free publication dedicated to the underbelly of media. WAR is a friend of the independent, not just the independent band but the independent record depository, fashion company, music label, distributor, ice cream shop, radio station, wine-o, publisher, artist, and dead beat. WAR believes in the need to pick up a magazine at your local saloon, show venue, pizza parlor, sewing collective, or book store and take it straight to your bathroom. Doing shit, it’s better than not doing shit. WAR will be coming to your door free every two months and encourage contributions.
